Show Seminary Notes By RANEE NORTON This year the 8 o'clock class consists of fourth-year students, Church History students, and Old Testament students. With three classes in one, there is never a dull moment. Our classes are very interesting interest-ing and full of activity. The fourth-year students are studying study-ing "Courtship and Marriage." Their text is "Youth, Love and Marriage," by Rex A. Skid-more, Skid-more, which the graduates thoroughly enjoy. In the second sec-ond semester they will take a course in missionary work, to which everyone Is looking forward. for-ward. The 9 o'clock class is studying the Old Testament, which they seem to have found very interesting. inter-esting. They have been taking part in some Church activities Carol Lee Clayson participated, partici-pated, with her family, in the program for the First Ward sacrament meeting. The 10 o'clock class is study ing "The New Testament Speaks," by O. C. Tanner, and they have had some films which they thoroughly enjoyed. There are two Church History classes being taught this year in Seminary, one at 11 and the other at 1. The students in the afternoon class delight in thinking think-ing up questions to confound Mr. Christensen on Monday mornings, which is ''discussion' day for the whole Seminary. They seem to be fast becoming experts. Apparently nothing ever happens hap-pens in the other class. Or so they report. The sixth hour New Testa-, ment class had a visitor on Tuesday, Hans Gustav Linden, a farm youth exchange student from Sweden. He joined in the class discussion and the students stu-dents thoroughly enjoyed his visit. |
