Show Society Glubs MR. AND MRS. CARLYLE F. GRONNING announce the engagement of their daughter, Patricia, to Mr. Monty Ray Ashworth, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ashworth. The date for the wedding has not been set. Patricia is employed by the Mountain Slates Telephone Co. in Salt Lake, and Monty is attending at-tending the U of U in the Capitol Cap-itol City. MRS. PEGGY JOHNSTON of Lynwood, Calif., announces the engagement and approaching approach-ing marriage of her daughter, Jeanne, to Mr. Gerald Goode, also of Lynnwood. Jeanne is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Hanney were in Mexico City on a tour, Sept. 6th to 16th, which Kent was awarded by the insurance company he represents. Other interesting cities visited were Texcoco and Cuernavaca. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Chris-tensen Chris-tensen have moved into the Kenneth Hollis rental home formerly occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Dick Fisher. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rowley are now in Milford. Mr. Rowley Row-ley has been employed at Aden, Cal., and will enroll at the USAC for the fall quarter. Miss Beverly Stonehocker o Riverside, Calif., and Mr. Louis a Frigone were married Sept. 15, in San Bernardino, Calif, bevei ly is a daughter of Mrs. Theone Stonehocker Masher of Hialto, Calif. Mrad Mrs. J. J. Schnacken- ' berg, and son in law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Edens of Santa Monica, Cal., were at Idaho Lake where they spent two weeks fishing. The group returned to Milford last Friday and the Edens spent a few days here before journeying on to their home. Mrs. Emma Walker left Thursday for Salt Lake to attend at-tend funeral services for her son in law, Christ Nolan, held Saturday afternoon. She remained re-mained a few days to visit her daughter, Hilda Nolan; a son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. DeLloyd Walker, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Roberts. Mrs. Nancy Bartlett of Salt Lake was here over the week end at the home of her mother, Mrs. Hazel Hillman. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Smith have returned from their 15-day 15-day vacation trip. They spent two weeks in Wheaton, 111., with a son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Knippen, and several days with another son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Morby, in Salt Lake. Wade Meadows, Bill Griffiths, Grif-fiths, Russell Griffiths and Car-lyle. Car-lyle. Stott are attending the USAC at Logan. Jennie Sue Smith, Nancy Mel-lor, Mel-lor, Ronnie Banks and Boyd White have enrolled at the CSU in Cedar City. |
