Show Legion Auxiliary Names Committees After a two-month summer recess the American Legion Auxiliary met in the Home Economics Eco-nomics room at the Milford High School Monday evening. New officers for the coming year are Jerry Kirk, president and hostess for the evening; Mary Long, first vice president; Elnor Murdock, second vice president; Dorothy Grimshaw, secretary; Pat Stewart, treasurer; treasur-er; Helen Banks, historian; Naomi Na-omi Hughes, chaplain; Magda-iena Magda-iena White, sergeant at arms. A ham dinner was served, jfter which Margaret Root and Ethel Cook, Girls Staters, gave ery interesting reports. President Kirk conducted the ousiness meeting, and among matters discussed was sponsorship sponsor-ship of a Savings Stamp program pro-gram in the Milford schools, as a part of the Legion Auxiliary's national security program. The Auxiliary also agreed to .ooperate with other organiza-.ions organiza-.ions in a Get v Out The Vote campaign.
