Mr. and Mrs. Max Meads and family stopped on their way to Seattle, Wash., to see relatives and visit for a short time, leaving leav-ing for Salt Lake to visit the Meads family. e Uncle Moroni Myers has been very ill the pasit week, with a heart attack. He is 83 years old, and again this year planted a nic garden, and it is a clean garden, with no weeds, growing beautifully. Aunt Hattie, his wile, tells me he has been ailing ail-ing for some two weeks after , staying up all night watering. j Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pryor and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor 1 motored to Ely, Nev., Saturday night to spend the Fourth with their children. All members of the family, 31 in number, had a picnic and enjoyed the day at the park. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Donahue Dona-hue and two sons, Allan and David, of Garden Grove. Cali'f., are here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Roberts and other relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Donahue was the daughter of Ada Myers Davie. The Horace Carter family gathered here one day last week at their home and reunited reunit-ed after b-ing in different places for a number of years. The town has purchased a fire truck. Dan Davis made a flying trip to Edwards Air Base after receiving a call from Horace Carter, who had bar- gained for it, to bring it home. We are all grateful for this protection, pro-tection, as we surely needed one. The morning to arrived it was used to extinguish a fire at the Etta Collins home. Mrs. Fn nk Williams is in the Milford Hispital very ill. Mr. ana Mrs. Frank Roberts of Van Nuys, Calif., spent two days here last week, en route to Lyman, Wyo., to attend the Roberts and Eyre reunions. Mrs. Edith Bradfield accompanied them on the trip. We received word that they had a' car accident acci-dent in Salt Lake, damaging their new car, but no one was injured. George Murdoek and two mining men called here one day last week and stopped at our home to have Lynn accompany accom-pany them to Mr. Murdock's mine. Mr. and Mrs. Laban Burt of Beaver, parents of Mrs. Dale Dotson, spent July Fourth here. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hesling-ton Hesling-ton are more than happy to have their baby son, Pfc Guy L., home on 15-day leave. He is stationed at Fort Sill, Okla., j and is a helicopter mechanic, I They have also received word from their elder son at West Point , Howard, that he is do-inu' do-inu' dental work for Uncle Sam.
