Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carter left Wednesday noon with their son LaVere and wife of Mil-ford Mil-ford for an extended visit with a buddy of LaVere's at Jackson Hole, Wyo., to fish and visit, and they will also try the Salmon Sal-mon River for salmon. Mrs. Doreen DeMille of Henderson Hen-derson and small daughter are visiting at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles K. Jameson. They have in the meantime taken their daughter to Salt Lake 'for medical care. Mr. and Mrs Wade Hodge and family have spent the week end with parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pryor. Mr. Hodge is employed at Timpiute, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Mac Armstrong of Cedar City spent the week end at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sim Murdock, and Mac helped with the haying. The bride, a da ugh -j ter of Mr. and Mrs. Goldie Mar-! Mar-! shall; Earl Horton, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Horton i of Greenville. Early in the day the wedding ; ceremony took place at the heme of tlu bride's parents, i after which a wedding break-I break-I fast was elaborately served by I parents of the couple. The table i was decorated with beautiful flowers. I R latives and friends enjoyed the gala reception. The bride wore a beautiful white floor-length floor-length gown with tiers of nylon tulle over lace, and carried a corsage of red and white roses. The maid of honor, Mildred 1 Bohn, was in white lace over I sat:n and bridesmaids Louise . Scott of Provo. Pauline Sevey I of Panguitch, and Helen Easton of Beaver marched in to the tune "Here Comes the Bride." Refreshments of wedding j cake, white cake, and ice cream j were served with a pretty little Thank-You card expressing ap-I ap-I preciation for the room full of wonderful gifts. Dancing was enjoyed until the hour of midnight. The happily married couple will make their home in Beaver. Beav-er. Arriving at Minersville last Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Eulalia Davis were hrjr friends Mr. and Mrs. Keith Talley and two sons from Denver, Colo., j who mov'td from here 10 years ago. Mr. Tulley at that time was a builder of the Cougar Spar mill. He now owns the Keith Tulley Construction Co. of Denver. Mrs. Davis was more than happy to cook a nice supper for them and then tour Minersville, Miners-ville, after which they left for a two week vacation en route to their home. Mrs. Davis also had as her guests that day two of her aunts from Beaver, Mrs. Clara Moy1 r and Miss Martha Beaumont. Beau-mont. The day before Mrs. Davis Da-vis was at Ceri.ir City for a medical checkup. Visiting- at the home of Mrs. Lynn Roberts is her daughter, Mrs. Bill Theriot of Las Vegas, and a sister, Mrs. Vida Bryson of Price. Friday morning at 3 o'clock their grandson, Paratrooper Bob Garrett of Fort Bragg, No. Car., knocked on the door and asked "Gram" for breakfast. After enjoying fried trout, eggs, toast, coffee and strawberry jam,- he motored to Salt Lake to visit his mother and older brother, who has just returned from Air Force duty in Germany. Ger-many. Paulina Carter will travel to Cedar City Tuesday to be with her children, who reside there. The Fourth of July program is under way, being taken care of by different organizations, with the Auxiliary leading. The queens will be chostn for votes 'from the following: Alise Adams, daughter of Etta Rollins; Barbara Failes, daughter daugh-ter of Ben Rollins; LaRee Evans, daughter of Lellah; Le-ola Le-ola Matthews, daughter of Ethel; and Sally Myers, daughter daugh-ter of Gladys. Vote for the one you like at any of the grocery stores or business houses in Minersville before Saturday night, July 2nd. All voting ends at that tiniu. The D U P is taking care of this part of the program for the Auxiliary. The Roberts and Eyre Reunion Re-union will be held in Lyman, Wyoming, on July 3rd. All are cordially invited.
