Show COLORADO LADY ASSIGNED TO MILFORD CHURCH j Mrs. Lillian Nelson of Mesa, Colo., has been assigned as pastor pas-tor tor the Milford Methodist Church for the ensuing year. She is at home in the parsonage for all who wish her services or who care to give her a friendly greeting. j Mrs. Nelson is a tall, hazel-I hazel-I eyed woman with a dark wind- blown hair-do and a ready smile. She has a brisk, enthu- : ' V-' s ( - I v ) XJ Mrs. Lillian Nelson siastic outlook, with a genuine love for people and a rich sense of humor. She is of Scotch-Irish descent, des-cent, a native of Arkansas, but has spent most of her life in California and Colorado. Her ministerial training was received re-ceived in the Il'ff Schooi of Theology in Denver. She is an ordained minister and is fully oualif'cd to take care of all church work. She has been pastor of the Methodist Church in Mesa, Colo., for the past six jears, and they objected strenuously strenu-ously to her leaving them, out she was transferred to Utah and is now busily getting acquainted acquaint-ed witli her new home. Mrs. NL-on is a member of Cedar Chapter No. 62 of the Order of the Eastern Star of Mesa, and also a Past Noble Grand of Grand Mesa Rebekah Lodge No. 95. She is interested interest-ed in all fraternal activities, and thoroughly enjoys the companionship com-panionship of the s'sters. She is very agreeably impressed with Milford and its surroundings, surround-ings, says llvs is a lovely, well-kept well-kept l ttle town, with its beautiful beau-tiful mountains and desert scenery, scen-ery, and looks torward to a most happy, useful year in the Little Church on the Corner. Slu extends to all a sincere and cordial invitation to attend her services. |
