Monty Ashworlh, last year's student body president presi-dent and popular Indent, was crowned Preferred Tiger. Fred-Wright Fred-Wright and Boyd White, both i popular students, were Monty's attendants. I o Congratulations to the Yearbook Year-book staff for finishing the '55 Mill Ford. Pat Wilcock and her staff have worked almost every night after school until the book was completed. o A Traffic Dunce will be held Friday, March 4th, immediately immedi-ately following the Millard basketball bas-ketball game. This is a student council sponsored dance and should be lots of fun. o Some senior g'rls have received re-ceived diamonds lately, and one is married. Each should be congratulated by all, with sincere sin-cere wishes for a happy future. Dorothy Brimberry was married mar-ried Jan. 28th, and wearing lovely diamonds are Pat Wilcock, Wil-cock, Dorothy Acklin and Jean-ctte Jean-ctte Williams. o The Junior Class is beginning to piactiee tneir promenade. Due to the services of Mr. and Mis. Norman Lamb, the class expects to create a fine dance for everyone's enjoyment, on April 15th. o The Tigereltes will present another formation Friday evening eve-ning at halftitme when the Mil-ford Mil-ford Tigers play the Millard Eagles. Everyone come out and watch our Tigers play their l lasi baskciball game of the sea-1 sea-1 son. o The Student Council has selected se-lected their pins. Each member mem-ber hopes to receive his very soon. o Traveling Assembly tryouts are not being held this year. Instead, In-stead, assembly acts are being choten from a series of talent assemblies presenting students who wish to be on the traveling travel-ing assembly. o An operetta has been planned by the M H S Chorus, for spring presentation . Most of the characters char-acters have been chosen for the musical production, "Miss Cher- ryblossom." Mr. Johnson, our director, plans to start practice soon. o I wish to mention and honor each senior boy playing basketball basket-ball this year. They all did a fine job: Vaughn McDonald, Dean Stoker, Dave Griffiths, and Monty Ashworth. Even though our season was not very successful, the boys tried hard and were "tops" in the sportsmanship bracket. |
