Show MINERSVILLE MAN SEEKS COUNTY POST William H. Wood, Minersville cattleman and farmer, is the Republican Re-publican candidate for two-year County Commissioner. Mr. Wood : V ' ' - .," 1 f William H. Wood I is seeking his first elective office. He is a native of Minersville, where he received his early education. edu-cation. After high school, he graduated from B A C, Cedar City, and the U S A C at Logan. In 1927 Mr. Wood married the former Frieda Eohman, and since that time has been engaged in the cattle and farming business there. The couple have three children. One son, Noel, is in the U S Army, the other son, Vern, is enrolled at the B A C in Cedar City, and 7-year-old Marilyn is at home. For nine years the commission candidate was a member of the County Production Marketing Administration committee. He also served on the Soil Conserva-t Conserva-t i o n Committee for several years. He has been very active in 4-H work, encouraging youngsters young-sters in better cattleraising and farming practices. |
