Show LEGION OFFERS PRIZES IN RIFLE SHOOT A rifle shoot for .Milford residents will be staged Saturday Satur-day afternoon by the American Legion, under the direction of Dave Morris, Legion Rifle Club chairman. The general public is invited to participate in the shoot, which will begin at 1 p. m. at the Legion Rifle Range near the county gravel I Pit. ! There will be no registration ' charge, Mr. Morris said, and targets will be furnished at the range by the American Legion. First prize, to be awarded for best group of five shots at 200 yards, will be a case of beer. Second prize, for best group of five at 200 yards with iron sights, Vi case of beer. Third prize, best group of five shots -at 100 yards with iron sights, Vi case of beer. Ladies prize best group of five shots at 100 yards one pair of nylon hose in color and size chosen by the winner. The targets will be calibrated and judged at the Legion Club Saturday evening, Mr. Morris said, and prizes awarded at that time. |
