Show FORMER BEAVER MAN DROWNED AT FISH LAKE Two men were drowned and another narrowly escaped death in an opening-day fishing tragedy trag-edy at Fish Lake when wind-whipped wind-whipped waves overturned the boat the men were fishing from. Dead are Eldon E. Nelson, 45, of Provo, and Warren E. Shipp, a resident of Provo who formerly lived in Beaver. The fisherman fish-erman who was saved when he I clung to the overturned boat ' until it washed ashore was Otto Shipp, brother of Warren. The bodies; were not found until 11 a..m. Tuesday, when they were found, locked arm in arm, by a search party headed by Leo Beutler, a lake guide. It is thought that Mr. Nelson had reached shore, removed his boots, and returned to save his friend, and both were drowned. |
