Show By MRS. ALMA SLY ' A very splendid program was rendered at sacrament meeting Sunday evening. The Sunday School was in charge. Supt. J. M. Hughes introduced, the program pro-gram with "Participation in Sunday Schools Develops True Latter-day Saints." Talks by RaNae Myers, B&rbara Tanner RaNae Norton; vocal duet, Naomi Na-omi HuL'hcf, and Doris Johnson-talks, Johnson-talks, LeRoy Griffiths,' Shirley Smith ;.nd C U Johnson v-.V included on the program. A closing prayer in theme with the program was given by Mr. Hughes. . The Book of Mormon class was held at the home of Mr and Mrs. Charles Terry, Mrs Terry served light refreshments to 10 members. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Banks. Primary Preparation meeting will be held at Mrs. Rene Hardy's Wednesday evening, Dec. 5th. This coming Thursday all Primary boys and girls are asked to bring a dime. Each teacher of her group will furnish fur-nish a Christmas card and the the dime will be put in this and sent to Primary Children's Hospital to buy sheets. Each child w.ill sign his name to the card of their group. This will be their Christmas gift this year from the Primary. The cooperation co-operation of parents will be greatly appreciated. At Testimony meeting Sunday Sun-day five babies received ' their names. They were as follows: Richard LaMar son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jones; Deborah Ann daughter of Mr. and Mrs. El-wood El-wood Brady; Stephen Max, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Abbott; John Lynn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arleigh Gustavson, and Robert James, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Holms. The Relief Society Bazaar proved to be a huge sucpess, and we wish to thank each and every one who helped in any way toward making it go over so nicely. |
