Show P M A ANNOUNCES NEW OFFICERS Community c o m m i tteemen elected in each of the four designated des-ignated communities in Beaver County and county committeemen committee-men elected in the county convention con-vention were announced today by the County PMA committee chairman, B. Nowers: Milford Community: George Mayer, chairman; Hy-rum Hy-rum L. Tolley, vice chairman; Leo Mayer, regular member; Don Alger, alternate. Minersville Community: Net Craw, chairman; Jeff Marshall, vice chairman; Thur-man Thur-man Eyre, regular member; Ar-lan Ar-lan Carter, alternate. East Beaver Community: Dan Murdock, chairman; Arnold Ar-nold Parkinson, vice chairman; Earl T. Smith, regular member; Ray Cartwright, first alternate. West Beaver Community: Glenn Gillies, re-elected chairman; chair-man; Waldo Yardley, vice chairman; chair-man; Ray Easton, regular member; mem-ber; William E. White, first alternate; al-ternate; Jim Smith, second . alternate. al-ternate. The county convention was held Tuesday, Nov. .27, in the county PMA office in the Professional Pro-fessional Building in Beaver, with delegates Foch Parkinson from East Beaver; Glen Gillies from West Beaver; Stanley Mc-Knight Mc-Knight from Minersville, and Hyrum L. Tolley ' from Milford attending to elect .a county P I M A committee. ! B. Nowers of Beaver was reelected re-elected chairman; Morgan Grif- fiths of Milford, re-elected vice chairman, and Frank D. Wil- I liams of Minersville was re- I elected regular member. Foch Parkinson and Gael Elmer were j named alternates. The committee is directly re" sponsible for the local administration adminis-tration of the Agricultural Conservation Con-servation Program and price support operations. In addition they cooperate with the Federal Crop Insurance Corp. in writing writ-ing of all-risk crop insurance, and with other Department of Agriculture agencies and groups in duties connected with the nation's na-tion's defense efforts. |
