Show I P.-T. A. HAS INTERESTING MEETING Milford's first Elementary P.-T. A. meeting, held Nov. 8, j was a large. and successful one. The P.-T. A. officers were very j pleased at the turnout and hope that the parents will continue to support the organization. j Thursday's meeting was op-ened op-ened with prayer by Karl Stott, Sixth grade teacher. The Sixth grade students, under direction i of Mr. McDermott, sang three numbers. The rest of the meet-j ing was turned over to Dr. M. F. Burgess of Cedar City. Dr. j Burgess is a representative of the Utah Optometric Association. Associa-tion. He delivered an illustrated illustrat-ed lecture entitled "The Classroom Class-room Environment and its Effect Ef-fect on the Vision, HealthN and Mental Development of the Student." The next P.-T. A. meeting will be a Christmas program by the elementary pupils sometime nert month. The date will be announced later. |
