I Mr. Jefferson reported that I at a recent meeting in Salt Lake he was given "positive assurance" assur-ance" that construction on the west end of Highway 21 would begin this year, and' that the contract would be let within six weeks. Probably no oil will be applied this year, Mr. Jefferson said, but grading and other preliminary pre-liminary work will be done. On the east end of the road, beginning at the end of pavement pave-ment at the Horn Silver Mine, the contract for work will be awarded by March 1, 1952, Mr. Jefferson was advised, and wcvk will be completed by early summer. |
