Show Water Carnival to Feature Plain and Fancy Diving; Races tor All Ages ! Milford's 1951 Red Cross swimming classes will be conclud ed Friday, August 17, according to Pool Manager P. L. Neal, anc a Water Carnival which "will surprise about everyone in Milford" will be staged Friday evening. The swimming, diving and life saving exhibition will begin at 7 p. m. and last about IV2 hours. Highlight of the evening, at least for parents of youngsters who learned to swim under Red Cross Swim Instructor "Mike" Watkins and Coach Meal, will be the exhibitions of their newly-acquired skill, including in-cluding races for different age groups, penny scrambles, life-saving life-saving . exhibitions, etc. The younger spectators will be most I interested in the bathing beauty show, featuring 'teen-age girls, and the oldsters will be thrilled by the diving exhibition to be staged by Elwood Jefferson, a former lifeguard and swimming swim-ming star, who will be assisted in one or more dives by little Judy Jefferson, an enthusiast who learned to swim this year. Mr. G. J.
