Mrs. Ireta Zabriskie and grandchildren Judy and Craig Baxter, and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fotheringham and son David of Beaver motored to Van Nuys Tuesday, to visit Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fotheringham. Mrs. Mildred Eldredge and son Boyd of Salt Lake were here last week-end for a short visit. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bauer and children of Spanish Fork are here this week-end visiting relatives. ! Mrs. Letha Smyth is filling the office of city recorder while Vernon Burns is on vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Young and children will leave Friday for a few days in Mayfield, Utah, Mrs. Young's home town. Jeanette Williams and Ruth ; Cline will leave this week-end for northern Utah.. They will be house guests of Mrs. Elden j Hardy at Magna, and will spend Saturday at Lagoon. ' Mr. and Mrs. H. C. The two ladles were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth, and also visited in Beaver. Beav-er. They left on Saturday for Salt Lake. j Bob and Marj Schramm and son Darryl enjoyed a week's vacation in California and Las Vegas. Miss Lois Mason of Helper is visiting at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Munk. Miss Nason is employed at the L & B Cafe. Mrs. Farrell Lish and children chil-dren are enjoying a two-week visit with relatives in Idaho. Miss Ella Jean Parkinson is attending summer school in Provo. Mrs. M. L. Roane of San Francisco, Fran-cisco, mother of Mrs. Norman Baxter, was a ten-day visitor in Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Harris returned Monday from a week's vacation in Boise, Idaho, at the home of Mrs. Harry Jefferson. Norman Baxter was a recent bus'ness visitors in Salt Lake. Mrs. Gertrude Zink of Salt Lake is visiting at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smithson. Gary and Allen Weston have returned to Milford viv. the-'-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Weston, after visiting in Meadow. Susan Williams and Ethel Cook were in Cedar City last week, guests of the Marion Walker family. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Hughes of Kemmerrer, Wyo., were in Milford after hearing of the auto accident of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes. Sally Williams spent three days in Lynndyl last week, visiting vis-iting with Linda Mills, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills. Week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Baxter were Mrs. Baxter's parents par-ents and sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bruno of Moroni and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jackson Jack-son and two children of Nephi. Mr. Arthur Leeper and Skip-py, Skip-py, Call and Raymond Briscoe returned last week after a short visit with Bob and Doris Baker in Reno. Mr. Harold Fitch has returned re-turned home after spending a month in a Salt Lake hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fitch have received word of the birth of a son to Roldo and Katherine Marlin Jones of Lund. The baby was born in the Cedar City hospital. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fitch were Mrs. Fitch's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Elliot of Eureka. The Fitch's two sons, who had been staying with their grandparents, grand-parents, also returned to jvin-tord. jvin-tord. Another visitor at the Fitch home was a sister, Mrs. Helena Hess of Springville. Miss Janiel Dawson was in Salt Lake last week visiting her grandparents. Max Kay was in town this week, taking in the fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Beard, newly weds of Wells, Nev., spent Sunday and Monday at the home of Mr. Beard's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Le-land Le-land Beard. |
