Mr. and Mrs. Ray Barnes of Junction are spending a vacation vaca-tion with Mrs. Augusta Marshall Mar-shall and family. Mrs. Barnes is the former Geniece Marshall. Mrs. Colleen Farnow and son Jerry have left for their home in Las Vegas, Nev., after spending a week with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Myers and family. the home of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Sherwood. Mrs. Fontella Dotson and family are in Salt Lake City enjoying a vacation with her mother. Mrs. Rhoda Ramsey of Las Vegas is at the home of Mrs. Laura Sherwood, where she is assisting during Mrs. Sherwood's Sher-wood's illness. A family get-together was enjoyed Monday night by the Gillins family, honoring the birth date of Hilton Gillins. Watermelon and cake were enjoyed en-joyed by Mr. and Mrs. Ty Gillins, Gil-lins, Mrs. Irma Eyre, Mrs. Rachel Eyre, Mr. and . Mrs. Heber Gillins Jr. and Mrs. Alba Gillins. Miss Vie Black of Beaver was an overnight guest of Miss Dorothy Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Waters of Springville were visitors in Minersville the past week. Mrs. Waters is the former Lula Thompson, daughter of Mrs. Edna Mecham. The immediate family enjoyed an outing "up the river" honoring their presence. pres-ence. Those present to enjoy root beer floats, cookies, cake and -' -h u kki o gum and balloons were Alma Jean and Joan Eyre, Anne Williams, Richard and Glenna Lee Davis, Nancy Dot-son, Dot-son, Calvin- and Madeleine Eyre, Scott Pearson, Heber Davis, Lois Rollins and Robert Rob-ert Goodwin. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pryor, Mr. and Mrs. Sim Murdock and Mr. and Mrs. Byron Limb and children of Ruth, Nev., enjoyed an outing at Panguitch Lake. Mr. Pryor took suddenly ill and was taken to the Panguvtch hospital for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins are making preparations for occupancy in the upstairs apartment of Mrs. Alba Gillins. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Davis and family were in Beaver on Monday. Mon-day. Mr. Davis, who recently returned from the U S A C where he received training in artificial insemination, is now beng kept busy in the field in Beaver and Minersville. Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre are completing the remodeling work on their home. I The Busy Bee Sewing Club met at the home of their leader, lead-er, Mrs. Frieda Wood, and delicious de-licious watermelon was served by member Jolene Wood. Those present, besides Jolene and Mrs. Wood, were Louise Thompson, Patricia Car ter, Jackie Blackburn, LaNae Davis, Da-vis, Renee Bradfield, Bonnite Carter, Marlene ' Baker and Dorothy Eyre. This is the first child for the happy couple. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Edwards and Ted Gressman of Stockton were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Carter last week. Mrs. Edwards and Ted are children of Mrs. Carter. Car-ter. Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Zabriskie of Milford were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Carter on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Burnham, and son Terry are visitors at Miss Ruth Marshall, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Marshall, Mar-shall, is spending her vacation here with her parents and family. Ruth is employed in the Capitol City and recently enjoyed a trip to Yellowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. Mel Williams and Ann Williams, daughter of Mrs. Margaret Williams of American Fork, have been in town on business. Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Williams was unable to accompany them because of illness. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Mathews and four children of Washington, D. C, were d;n-ner d;n-ner guests Friday of their grandmother, Mrs. Mary Ellen Mathews, and uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Sherwin J. Wood.
