Show SSriefe ABOUT PEOPLE YOU KNOW Father Spears of Santa Rosa of Lema parish, of Layton.said mass in Milford last Sunday, in the absence of Father Valine, who will say mass on Sundays , in Grand Canyon, Bryce and i Kanab during the summer months. He will be in Milford during the week, and continue his parish duties with an assistant as-sistant priest, who is to arrive from Oakland this week. The new priest is also of the Dominican Dom-inican Order. Mr. and Mrs. Max Baxter, Marie and Mitchell, and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Paice motored to Moroni last week-end to visit Mrs. Baxter's parents and relatives. rel-atives. Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Roberts of North Hollywood, Calif., have been visiting friends in Milford, South Milford . and Minersville. They left Tuesday for Wyoming, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Florin Bingham. At Lyman, Wyo., they will attend at-tend a Roberts Family reunion June 10th and 11th. It will be Mr. Roberts' first visit to Wyoming Wyo-ming in more than 42 years. Mrs. Lula Yither and husband, hus-band, J. E. Yither, were called to Salt Lake City on account of the death of Mrs. Yifher's brother, broth-er, who passed away Sunday morning. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday for the former Milford and Frisco resident, res-ident, who was a son of Mr. and Mrs. D. S. Feeney. Little Alice Ahlstrom of Cedar Ce-dar City is in Milford visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen McKnight. Mr. and Mrs. James Riley of Lafayette, Ind., were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch several days last . week. Mr. and Mrs. Riley had been visiting a sister in San Bernardino, Bernar-dino, Calif., and on their return trip stopped in Milford to visit the Kochs. Mrs. Riley and Mr. Koch are cousins. They continued con-tinued their homeward trip, by way of Schnook, Mont. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Cameron of Springville; Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Reed and children of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Henrietta Reid of Parowan were visitors last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Worthen. Helen and Louie Bushman of California, former Milford residents, were here last week, guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Peterson. Mrs. I. N. Nolder of Minersville, Miners-ville, and her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred R. Pryor of Logan, were visitors in Milford Wednesday. i |
