Show Of Interest to Women HOUSE GUESTS at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen McKnight. for the past week were their, son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and "Mrs. Joseph and children, Thula Rae, Jimmy and Marvin, of Los Angeles-; their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Sterling McKnigrt and baby Paul, of Nevada, and their son, Daren McKnight of McGill, Nev. This . is the first time in many years that the McKnights have had so many of their children home together, to-gether, and a good time was enjoyed en-joyed by all. THE FIVE HUNDRED CLUB was entertained by Mrs. Dan Ferguson last Tuesday evening. Invited guests were Mrs. Lloyd Kohler and Mrs. Jack Miller. Members present included Mrs. David Reese, Mrs. Eddie Leech, Mrs. Julian Arnold, Mrs. Wayne Lyman, Mrs. Robert Price, Mrs. Vance Fisher, Mrs. Robert Tom-sik, Tom-sik, Mrs. Jim Brannon, Mrs. Lawrence Easton and Mrs. Warren War-ren Atkin. The prizes went to Mrs. Arnold, Mrs. Kohler and Mrs. Price. Making their h(ime in Provo ior a short time are Mr. and Mrs. A. L. McDonald and two sons, Bill and Vaughn A FAREWELL PARTY was given in honor of Mrs. Pauline Rummler at the home of Mrs. Jane Firmage, last week. A "lovely blouse was given to Mrs. Rummler as a going-away gift by Mrs. Billie Stoker, Mrs. Jeanette Kohler, Mrs. Bobbie James, Mrs. Carol Stewart, Mrs. Lillian Lewis, Mrs. Marjorie Schramm, Mrs. Verl Horton and Mrs. Firmage. i Pinochle .was the evening's entertainment, after which cake and ice cream were served. - THE HAPPY 4-HERS met at the home of their teacher, Lois Hollis, on Tuesday, June 28th. Officers chosen were Grace Geist, president; Sally Edwards, vice-president, and Connie La-brum, La-brum, secretary. Other members mem-bers are Laura Lee Baker, Anna Thompson, Lynette Bracken and Kathleen Truex. The girls cooked eggs, bacon, muffins, waffles and cereal. Expected guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs.. Edgar Moore are Mrs. .Moore's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and .Mrs. Kenneth Linck and daughter Karen B, of Salina, Kansas. |
