Signing herself, "Your New York Correspondent," Mrs. Ellen Ford Parsons, former resident of Milford Mil-ford and prominent high school student, sends The News a progTam of a concert scheduled ifor March 10 in the Cosmopolitan Salon, featuring fea-turing Lorus Taylor Hand, baritone. Mr. Hand, too, is a 'former resi-den resi-den tof Milford, having been music director in the high school and taking a prominent part in church I and community activities. He is now engaged in concert and radio work and has his own studio on West 57th street in New York. Also, he is director of the Manhattan Manhat-tan Ward L. D. S. Choir, according to Mrs. Parsons. Mrs. John W. Stahl and children of Sou'h (Milford were visiting Theressa Pitch forth Clara McFad-den, McFad-den, Georgia Stonehocker, Myrtle Mills, Elma Voorhees, Prudence Jensen, Bellvereen Palmer and Eva Stonehocker. After dinner the .members were entertained with bridge at the home of Theressa Pitehforlh. Prizes were won by Mrs. Palmer, high points, and Mrs. Pitchforth, high honors. Light refreshments re-freshments were served. Black Rock friends Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Weston and daughter Beverly spent the weekend week-end n Las Vegas, and at the Boulder Boul-der dam.
