It was felt by the committee members that completion of the grading and paving of the airstrip should be completed before any new airport projects are undertaken. under-taken. In a move to improve recreational recrea-tional facilities in the Milford area, a committee was appointed by Lion President Evans to inspect in-spect the Honeyboy Ski area in the Mineral Mountains east of town, and report on possible improvement im-provement and development of the area. It was the opinion of .the club members that improvement of the winter sports 'facilities should be labeled a "must" to provide more winter entertainment for the Milford Mil-ford public, and to offer inducements induce-ments to visitors and sports fans of this area. Dick Foerster and Jim Muncey were requested to take their scout, troops to Rock Corral, summer picnic pic-nic area, and rebulid fences, tables, and other facilities, and clean the area up in preparation for summer activities. |
