Show SOUTH M1LF0RD By MRS. JOAN McKMGHT The South Milford Community club met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight on Saturday night. A delicious dinner was served to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Klmer, Mr. and Mrs. Selar Hutchings, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Griffiths, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Lor-raine Gillins, Jeannette and Louise Gillins, and Mr. and Mrs. Jess Mc-Knight. Mc-Knight. Clair Gillins was re-elected president, Mrs. Cree Elmer was elected secretary. Mr. and Mrs. John Terry and daugher, of Leslie, Idaho, are in Milford visiting their daughters and sisters, Mrs. Doris Elmer and Mrs. Beth Fisher. I The Social Hour Olub met at the Club House Thursday to elect new officers and to carry on their regular reg-ular ac'tibities. Mrs. Nora Wright was elected president, Mrs. Cree Elmer, vice presdent; Mrs. Irene Stewart, secretary, and Mrs. Joan McKnght, reporter. A delicious luncheon was served to all those present by Mrs. Sadie Griffiths and Mrs. Hannah Smith. A new club made up of the younger married women of South Milford met at the home of Mrs. Joan McKnight, Friday. Among those present were Mrs. Lois Sohow, Mrs. Nona Gillins, Mrs. Doris Elmer, Mrs. Naomi Bak eland el-and Mrs. Alice Elmer. Miss Betty Jeanne Stone, home demonstration agent for Beaver County, was also present to explain how to take better care of the home and to see if the ladies would be interested in learning how o re-upholster, sew, crochet, and many other thing3. Mrs. Joan McKnight was elected president of the club, and Mrs. Alice Elmer, secretary. |
