Show Public invited Thanksgiving rites planned Thursday Springville and Mapleton citizens cit-izens are invited to a special Thanksgiving service Thursday morning, Thanksgiving Day, at the Springville StakeHouse. The service, which is annually annual-ly sponsored as a means to give people an opportunity to express their gratitude for the bounties of life, is under the direction di-rection of the Fifth Wa'd Speaker for the special one-hcur one-hcur services starting at 9 a.m. is Di. Ernest Eberhard, Jr. He is currently serving at the BYU as director of curriculum of the LDS Seminaries, a position posi-tion he has held for the past 10 years. Di. Eberhard is an influential influen-tial speaker and has been invited in-vited to many youth gatherings as a speaker. He served as a co-ordinator in the Cache Valley Val-ley District and also was principal prin-cipal of the seminary in Preston, Pres-ton, Idaho, prior to coming to the BYU. He served as bishop there for ten years and served as mayor two terms for that city. He has been ass.ned by the First Presidency of the LDS Church to serve on the youth task committee on the general correlation committee. He and his wife are the parents of six Dr. Ernest Eberhard Jr. |
