Show f 1 J Naomi Johnson Services today at mortuary for Mrs. Johnson Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted today at 1 p.m. in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Glen B. Orton of the Ninth Ward officiating, for Naomi Johnson, 77. Mrs. Johnson John-son died early Tuesday morning, morn-ing, September 30, 1969 at the Utah Valley Hospital of causes incident to age. Friends may call at the mortuary mor-tuary prior to the services. Burial will be in the Heber City Cemetery. She was born November 28, 1891, in Heber, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Witt Watson. Wat-son. She married Joseph F. Johnson in Heber. Their marriage mar-riage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died December 28, 1967. Mrs. Johnson was a former resident of Spring Canyon, Carbon County, where she was active in the LDS Church as president of the Relief Society, MIA and the Primary. She had lived in Springville since 1950, and had been active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Senior Citizens and as a Relief Re-lief Society teacher. Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Harold W. Johnson, John-son, American Fork; Edwin L. Johnson, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Max (Geraldine) Perkins, Springville; 14 grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Cleo Hau-ter, Hau-ter, Salt Lake City. |
