Show Public broadcast grant sets up audio testing A National Center for Audio Experimentation will be established es-tablished at public radio station sta-tion WHA, Madison, Wisconsin, Wiscon-sin, under a grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Broad-casting. John W. Macy, Jr., Corporation Corpora-tion President, announced in New York the $50,000 grant for one year, beginning July 1. The University of Wisconsin Bpard of Regents accepted the grant for the University Extension Ex-tension station at a recent meeting. In announcing the grant, Mr. Macy said, "One of the most challenging opportunities oppor-tunities facing us is the chance to experiment, to try new forms, to seek new uses of the sound medium. We look to this project to develop new and exciting techniques in sound production that can be applied by all public radio stations and thus help promote a strong and vigorous public radio service nationally."
