Show Kiwanis to hear about Russia; set work nights Dr. Ed Morrell, who recently returned from Russia, will be the speaker at Kiwanis Club tonight beginning at 7 p.m. at Kelly's Grove with J. Brent Packard as toastmaster. The meeting will be under the direction di-rection of President H. Taylor Reynolds. President Reynolds also announces an-nounces that July 16 and 17 will be work nights at the Grove where the club is starting start-ing to put a cover on the Kiwanis Ki-wanis Fireplace as a special project which is being made possible by the selling of license li-cense plate holders by club members. These are still available avail-able and proceeds will go to the fireplace project. All club members are urged to be in attendance at-tendance both evenings to get this project off to a good start. Under the direction of Clifford Clif-ford Crandall and Glen Pyper, the first annual Springville Kiwanis Ki-wanis Club golf tournament will be held Saturday, July 12 beginning early that morning at the Hobble Creek Golf Course. This tournament is limited lim-ited to club members only. |
