Show Guest Day held by Jeune Mere Club Jeune Mere club held its annual an-nual mothers, daughters and guest day at the Social Center Cen-ter in Spanish Fork Saturday noon. Francis Clark, Elmina Madsen and Olive Bray were the hostesses. An outstanding program was presented by Pauline Hills and Coleen Winger. Pauline, an accomplished ac-complished pianist, is the president pres-ident of Utah Valley Symphony Guild. Coleen is a member of Utah Valley Opera. They presented pre-sented classical music and op-eritic op-eritic numbers as well as broad-way broad-way shows. Coleen accompanied many of the numbers with the auto harp. Twenty nine members and guests were present. Three members' mothers were present including Lillie Cuyler, Nettie Thorn and Beulah Whiting. Daughters present were Jean Bills, Erma Lee Bills, Jerelyn McQuivey, Anne Palfreyman, Jane Blackett, Kay Smith, Mary Lynn Jensen, Pauline Hartvigsen and Joy Nielsen. Other guests included Eve Gil-lisp'.e, Gil-lisp'.e, LaRene Kimball, Jennie Williams, Muriel Young and Lola Argyle. Marie Whiting gave a tribute to mothers, daughters and the guests. A delicious dinner was enjoyed. The next club, a social, will be held May 21 at the home of Beth Jensen in Ma-pleton. |
