Paula Osborn is Merit Scholar Paula D. Osborn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Osborn, Os-born, is one of eight high school students in the county to make the National Merit Scholars. Paula will attend McAlester College in St. Paul, Minn., and will major in English. Paula received the Readers Digest Merit Scholarship. Paula, residing at 162 Brook-side Brook-side Drive, Springville, is the Utah Betty Crocker Homema-ker Homema-ker of Tomorrow winner and is a Sterling Scholar Semi-finalisf. She is studentbody vice-president of assemblies and has participated par-ticipated for three years in the State Forensics Meet. For two years she has participated in the state drama meet and is a student director for a school play at Springville High School. She takes advanced placement English and has received the NFL Degree of Distinction.
