Show Poetry Night held at Ladies Literary Club Members of the Ladies Literary Lit-erary Club met at the home of Mrs. Carrie Gammell last Wednesday. A tasty tray lunch was served at the beginning of the meeting to 15 club members. mem-bers. Julia Sumsion, president, was in charge. Blanch Ostlund gave the club collect. Lucille Bird was welcomed back to the club after having spent the wintei months in Mesa, Arizona. Ari-zona. Presenting the program for the evening was Mercedes Anderson. An-derson. Mrs. Anderson presented present-ed her material from "A Word in Edgewise" by Irene Warsaw; Ogden Nash's book, "There's Always Another Windmill" and from the book written by Carolyn Car-olyn Pearson of the BYU. The next club will be a guest night May 15 to be held at Oak Crest Inn. |
