Show ... . .. . ; ': ? Dr. Vernon Tipton Dr. V. J. Tipton Kiwanis speaker Dr. Vernon J. Tipton will be the principal speaker at Kiwanis Kiwan-is tonight beginning at 7 p.m., announces President Taylor Reynolds who will be in charge. Toastmaster for the occasion will be Ray H. Clark, chairman of the Support of Churches Committee. Dr. Tipton, associate professor profes-sor in Zoology and Entomology at the BYU earned his bachelor's bache-lor's and master's degree at the BYU. He obtained his PhD at the University of Caliofrnia at Berkeley. He is a retired Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army after twenty-two years of service. Dr. Tipton has traveled extensively ex-tensively throughout the world. He worked in preventative medicine in the Panama Canal Zone, the Far East and the African Af-rican area. He will speak on health problems prob-lems throughout the world, and the blessings we enjoy as Americans compared to other countries.
