The construction of the new facility will probably not begin until this approximate amount is paid or pledged. Fund-raising efforts are already al-ready underway. Dr. Wilkinson Wilkin-son emphasized the fact that none of the costs of the building will come from tithes or other funds of the LDS church. The exact cost will depend upon the ultimate ulti-mate size and facilities and equipment needed. The choice of the building site was made because it will be within easy walking distance of most campus buildings and convenient for automobile traffic from all directions. When completed there v.all be approximately 5,000 parking spaces within 1,500 feet of the center. A total of 9,000 parking spaces will be available within 2,500 feet of the buildings.
