Show Home wedding, reception held " for new Mr. and Mrs. Henrie Mr. and Mrs. LaVar E. Ferris Fer-ris announce the marriage of their daughter Bonnie Ray to David R. Henrie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace R. Henrie of Spanish Fork. The marriage was solemnized August 24 at the home of the groom's parents with Bishop Hanks performing i the ceremony. Following a honeymoon in Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe, i the newlyweds are now making their home in Springville. A reception was held following follow-ing the ceremony at the Henrie Hen-rie home. For the event the bride was lovely in a floor length gown with empire waist made of silk organza with ap-pliqued ap-pliqued lace across the bottom and train. The gown had a lace bodice with short sleeves and was designed and made by the bride. Her veil was of bridal illusion with crystal and pearl crown. Her flowers were pink carnations and white glamelias with pink ribbon streamers. Attending the bride was Mrs. ; Pat Crc-ne, matron of honor; Mrs. Diane Whitney, Mrs. Betty Bet-ty Fullmer and Nancy Ferris bridesmaids. Matron of honor wore a floor length, hot pink crepe dress while the bridesmaids wore white floor length crepe. Their flowers were white and pink mums tied with pink ribbon streamers. i The bride's mother wore a white lace over pink satin while the groom's mother was dressed dress-ed in hot pink crepe. Their flowers were of pink and white talored mums. Best man was Chris Nelson. Greeting guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Memory and Mr. and Mrs. Eif Henrie. At the guest register were Merrily Curtis and Andrea Morrow. Serving were Charlene Mer-dock, Mer-dock, Debbie Ewell, Luwetta Norman, Jo Ann Miller and Gayleen Steele. A beautiful, four tiered, pink and white flower trimmed wedding wed-ding cake with wedding bells at the top formed an interesting interest-ing focal point. Nearly 5 million U.S. veterans veter-ans or their survivors will receive re-ceive compensation or pension payments during 1968. If there were more followers and fewer sorry leaders, the tiuman race would make greater progress.
