Show Maycock new head of BYU alumni Howard C. Maycock, prominent promi-nent Springville banker and a graduate of Brigham Young o P' University in 1931, has been tod named president of the BYU Alumni Association for 1968-69, nan- according to Ronald G. Hyde. )0VS Allmni executive director. Elected by the Board of Directors, Di-rectors, Mr. Maycock will be ch "ssisted by newly-elected vice-Presidents vice-Presidents Harold B. Jones , . ''SG) and Dr. Ernest L. Wilkinson Wil-kinson Jr. ('46). Ronald G. H'de ('51) was reappointed as executive director ,and Kay A. Randall ('49) win continue to sprve as treasurer. Mr. Maycock first became a member of the Alumni Board of . Directors in 1964. Last year he served as first vice-president. Active for many years in the Springville Banking Co., he currently serves as vice-president and director of the Centra Bank and Trust Co. Last year he was Lieutenant governor of the Utah-Idaho District of Kiwanis. Ki-wanis. He was formerly president presi-dent of the North German Mission Mis-sion for the LDS Church. Also helping to direct affairs af-fairs of the Alumni Association are six new members of the Board of Directors, serving 3-year 3-year terms: J. Fred Ahlander C40), L. H. "Curt" Curtis ('41), Mary Brown Firmage ('37), Rex P. Hall ('42), Fred L. Markham C23) and George H. Mortimer ('25). In addition, Judge David J. Wilson (newly-elected president of the BYU Emeritus Club), and Grant L. Richards (newly elected BYU studentbody president), pres-ident), will also serve as members mem-bers of the board during their terms of office. |
