Michael Shepherd takes South Dakota bride; returns to AFB Announcement is made this week of the marriage of Michael Mich-ael Floyd Shepherd son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Shepherd of this city and Miss Rox Ann Rausch, daughter of Mrs. Nettie Net-tie Rehfeld of Rapid City, South Dakota. During a leave from the service, ser-vice, the couple came to Springville to meet his parents and were married in Salt Lake City. They were honored at an open house in Kolob Stake Relief Re-lief Society Room. Serving as best man to the groom was Ron Bird, while Toni Shepherd was maid of honor. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sayer greeted guests at the door. Arranging gifts were Mrs. Kenneth Lowe and Mrs. Cal Jones assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Gene Young, Mr. and Mrs. Niles Drage and Mahendra Shaw. Serving were Melodie Merrill, Gail LeRoy, Lisa Young and Kathy Lowe. The newlyweds have returned return-ed to Rapid City, So. Dakota, where Michael is stationed in the Air Force. He is a graduate gradu-ate of Springville High School and LDS Seminary and has attended at-tended school at Snow College and College of Eastern Utah. He has been in the Air Force the past year and a half.
