Show High school pals at get-together A delightful social gathering took place Sunday afternoon, at Oak Crest Inn, when a group who have remained friends since high school Booster Club days, were together for dinner and visiting. Mrs. Blanch G. Hales of Spanish Fork,' club president, acted as chairman of arrangements arrange-ments assisted by Elsie H. Robertson. The dining tables were pretty for the occasion with a floral centerpiece in red and blue with red roses holding a lip stick, used as favors. After dinner, visiting, looking over old yearbook and pictures and taking pictures took up the time. In attendance were, Bessie Wannacott Lund, Long Beach, Calif.; Florence Daley Bennett, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Virginia Packard Harker, Meridian, Idaho; Ida-ho; Carrie Sanford Jolley, Helen Hel-en Hughes Robbins, Wealtha Spafford Mendenhall, all of Salt Lake; Grace Llewellyn Brown, Orem; Florence Carrick Allan, Mapleton; Gwen Zabriskie Cutler, Cut-ler, Marie Jensen Whiting, Pearl Gore Smith, Helen Gott-fredson Gott-fredson Robbins of Springville; Mrs. Hales of Spanish Fork and Mrs. Robertson of Spriingville. Members of the group keep in touch with gifts, cards, letters let-ters and parties every few years. Thrilled Jean Smith Snow had an experience ex-perience one day this week that many small town girls dream about but seldom have, when she met Cliff Robertson, as he came to the place where she worked as a waitress. Mr. Robertson Rob-ertson is in the show, "Devil's Brigade," presently being filmed in this area, and Mrs. Snow got his autograph. |
