Patrick to take bride from Provo in June 1 rites Charming Miss Edith Ann Dawson of Provo will exchange ex-change marriage vows with John Rooks Patrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Patrick of this city, June 1 in the Salt Lake Temple, engagement news reveals this week. Bride-to-be is a daughter of Mrs. Edith J. Dawson of Provo and the late C. Holman Dawson. A reception will be given in the evening after the ceremony cere-mony at the Alumni House on BYU Campus. Bridal attendants will be Judy Bentley, Joy Davis, Toni Odekirk, Terri Smith, and a sister, Mary Ellen Dawson. Miss Dawson, a junior at BYU in the school of nursing, graduated from Provo High School and LDS Seminary. She is affiliated with Delian Vesta Culture Unit. Mr. Patrick is a senior at BYU with a major in history. He is a member of Air Force ROTC and has filled an LDS mission to the Central Atlantic States. He graduated from Springville High School and LDS Seminary. The couple plans to make their home in Provo while both continue their education. |
