Show and Mr. and Mrs. George Bolman Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. McKay Pollock of Magna visited at the Stanley Long home Friday evening. A patrol meeting was held at the home of Johnny Johnson Wednesday afternoon. Attending were Dennis Scrogin, Paul Mc-Mullin, Mc-Mullin, Kent Simkins, Reeves Dahlstrom and Michael Swain. Mr. and Mrs. William Pierce of Pleasant Grove and Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Hooley of Orem visited vis-ited Friday at" the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Olsen. Dinner guests New Year's day of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Larsen and daughters were Mr. and Mrs. Ross Palmer and sons, Grant, Lynn, Paul, Stewart, Keith and Dennis of South Jordan. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Beck and Mr. and Mrs. John Steadman were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Olsen and daughters, Karen and Sherry. Mr. and Mrs. David O. Stoker visited in Salt Lake City Wednesday Wed-nesday with Mr. and Mrs. Asel Caldwell Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Armitstead and daughters, Gay and Janice, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Armitstead and son Brad of Sandy Thurs- tratto and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Ham. i A sleigh riding party was held Saturday evening with Doris Abplanalp as hostess. Attending were Joyce DeCol, Beverly Ray, Maxine Garrett, Bobbie Lee Johnson and Rena Joy Coleman. Spending a week with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Eskel Johnson, while their mother mo-ther attended the rose parade, were Chad and Verl Thome of Riverton. Johnson, Bobbie Lee and Johnny and Mrs. Jennie Enckson enjoyed a lovely Swedish Swed-ish holiday dinner at the home of their mother, Mrs. Hannah Smith Thursday evening. o day. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Griggs and daughter daugh-ter Stephanie of Midvale and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Thorne of Murray. A New Year's eve party was held at Copperton ward for the adults. The program included a duet by Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Throckmorton, reading by Jennie Jen-nie Gadd and a solo by Elva Jensen. Dancing followed and a delicious luncheon of hot barbecued barbe-cued sandwiches and all the trimmings was served. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest A. Diederich Diede-rich returned home Sunday evening ev-ening from an enjoyable holiday visit to California where they spent a week in Los' Angeles as guests of Mr. Diederich's Drother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Diederich. They also toured San Diego. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cowdell, Mrs. Monte Jones and son Denny of Copperton, Mrs. Bonnie Mous-ley Mous-ley of Bluffdale, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Calderwood and children, Cathy and Robbie of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cowdell of Riverton were dinner guests Sundny of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cowdell and daughter Debra of Kearns. Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Jones of Salt Lake City visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cowdell Cow-dell Monday. Visitors at the Ray Cowdell home during the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderson of Provo and Mrs. Daisy Draper of Orem. Second Lt. Karl Hoffman Jr., stationed in Oklahoma, spent the Christmas holidays with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Hoffman Sr. Mrs. J. W. Johnson entertain ed the pinochle club at her home Monday evening. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. W. A. Fike, Mrs. J. A. Fike and Mrs. George Dahlstrom. Lovely birthday gilts were presented to Mrs. W. A. Fike and Mrs. Tory Tobiason, who were observing their birthday birth-day anniversaries, from the club. A delicious late luncheon was served to nine members. Miss Lorraine Tobiason left Sunday morning to return to Washington where she is attending attend-ing the University of Washington, Washing-ton, and her brother, Eddie left by plane Tuesday morning to return to his home. Eddie is designing de-signing engineer for Kennecott Copper in Hurley, N. Mex. They are daughter and son of Mr. and Mrs. Tory Tobiason and were here for" the Christmas holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Long and daughters visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Edwards and sons of Midvale Wednesday evening. Mrs. Maxie Johnson and Mrs. Delana Long visited Tuesday with Mrs. Gladys Lundberg and Mrs. Jackie Nichol of Murray. Pfc. Merlin Coleman arrived home last Friday to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Coleman and sister sis-ter Rena Joy. He returned to his base Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bolman left Thursday for California where Mr. Bolman will continue his work with the Honeywell Company. Mrsr Bolman will register re-gister at the University of Southern South-ern California. They spent the holidays here with Mr. Bolman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bolman. Mr. and Mrs. W. S.
