Show Interesting history given at DUP meet A continuation of the history of John Webster, Utah pioneer, who came from Scotland to the U.S. in 1867, was given by a granddaughter, Mrs. Janet C. Bird, at Camp Locust Grove DUP meeting Thursday of last week. The meeting was held at the home of Zola Tuttle with Mrs. Velma Hjorth, assisting hostesses. hos-tesses. Mrs. Melva Smith, camp vice captain presided. The history stated that Mr. Webster settled in Wisconsin at first and then came to Salt Lake, later moving to Taylors-ville, Taylors-ville, where ' he followed the occupation of blacksmith. The lesson on "Heber Kimball Kim-ball and his wives and Familes" was given by Mrs. Jeannette Ullock. Refreshments were served at ' the close of the program and the next meeting announced ' for April 13, at the home of ' Mrs. Vida Shepherd. |
