Schools observe education week In observance of National Education Week, Nov. 6 to 12, the Jefferson and Westside Schools are inviting parents to visit the schools sometime during dur-ing the week to see the activities activi-ties in the schools and become acquainted with the teachers and the school programs. The theme of the week, first proclaimed pro-claimed on Nov. 30, 1921, is "Education Adds Up." i Inter-stake dance The MIA of SpringviUe and Kolob Stakes is sponsoring an inter-stake dance, the first in a series Saturday at 8 p.m., in Kolob Stake House. Federated Music Club Mrs. Kent Palfreyman will be hostess to members of the SpringviUe Federated Music Club at her home Friday at 8 p.m. Mrs. Clarence Schreiver will present the program. Brookside PTA The Brookside PTA will hear Mrs. De Fonda Collier speak on children's literature at a meeting next Wednesday at 7 p.m. Mrs. Collier has taught adult education classes and has conducted a workshop at BYU. N., will speak at the meeting of the Legion Auxiliary next Wednesday evening, eve-ning, Nov. 9, at 7:30 p.m., at Memorial Hall, announces President Pres-ident - Gladys - Pennington. Picture show There will be a picture show at the junior high school Friday Fri-day evening, Nov. 4, beginning at 7 p.m., to which the public pub-lic is invited.
