Show Teen-age combo proves popular on short Idaho, Montana tour Boswell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Boswell and David Mecham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mecham. The boys wear blue dinner jackets until intermission when they don gold jackets. A Springville musical combo known as the "Saints" returned Sunday, from a week's tour in which they played at teen-dances in Idaho and Montana. They also visited Yellowstone Park and West Yellowstone. They played to a capacity crowd in Rigby, Idaho, and were enthusiastically received by TV and radio station KID, which had them stay over to play a "beat" dance at the Idaho Falls school cafeteria. Disc Jockey Curt Empey asked the boys to come back at a later date, at the armory. The teen-age group thrilled at the skill and showmanship of the "Saints" and the dance management stated they were the finest youngsters with whom they had worked. They reportedly did a good job representing Springville and Central Utah and saw many sights including the LDS Temple at Idaho Falls. They were royally hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Arlan Cloward of Ashton, Idaho, former residents of Mapleton, who are soon moving to Montana. Their son, Ted, accompanied the Saints on their trip booking book-ing the engagements. In the group are Greg and Randy Morgan, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Morgan; Jack |
