Show Scalmanini and Steven all returned re-turned to their homes by car Monday. They came from the coast by plane. (J3revilte5 . . . Lorna and Janet Whitney, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Whitney, recently went by plane to Elk Grove, Calif., to visit their sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown. The Browns met them in San Francisco. Fran-cisco. After the visit, Mr. and Mrs. Brown accompanied them back to Utah for a visit with the Whitneys. During their stay, Mrs. Phillip (Helen) Whitney entertained for eight school friends iincluding: Merlin Mer-lin D. Felix, Karen W. Davis, Salt Lake; Deanne B. Miner, Kay C. Hall, California; Wilda F. Williams, Carolyn C. Her-mansen, Her-mansen, Linda Brown and the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. George Peterson Peter-son visited recently in Burley, Idaho, with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hansen. They accompanied the Hansens back to Idaho after they had spent a weekend in Springville. Mrs. Maude Roylance has enjoyed en-joyed a visit this summer from her daughter, Mrs. Retta Kelly, who came from Oakland, California. Cal-ifornia. Visiting for a shorter time was another daughter, Mrs. Melba Scalmanini of Ukiah, Calif., and a great grandson Steven Graber, 13, son of Barbara Kelly Graber, who spent two weeks at the Roylance home. Mrs. Scalmanini Scalman-ini came also to visit a son, Jim, and wife, and was on hand for the birth of a new grandson, Aug. 10.
