Show Stake crowns volleyball winning teams Fifth Ward won the girls volleyball tournament in the Springville Stake with a 4-1 record. They will now enter the regional tournament to be held at the Nebo Stake House in Payson April 2, beginning at 8 a.m. The team is coached by Colleen Crandall and Barbara Bar-bara Sumsion. Second place honors in the stake went to the Seventh Ward coached by Sheryl Smith. In the junior tournament the Fifth Ward Beehives also won first place in the stake. Colleen Col-leen Crandall and Barbara Sumsion were coaches. Second place honors went to Tenth Ward, coached by Kathleen Childs. Glenda Montague, the stake sports director, expressed appreciation ap-preciation to those who have helped in the various wards to make the sports program a success. A shrewd landowner near Romsey, England has a sign warning trespassers: "Keep out area infested with rubus fru-ticocosus." fru-ticocosus." What it means is the area is full of blackberry bushes. |
