Show yjewd WoteS . . . Mrs. Zara Tonks gave a piano pi-ano party for a student, Cathy Coker, Wednesday, for her J memorizing eight selections. Cathy invited her guests to hear her play and they also enjoyed en-joyed games and refreshments. Present were her father, Earl Coker, Karen Hiatt, Jeralyn Cluff , Tommy Breuninger, Edith Hiatt, Jane Coker. Mr. and Mrs. Lee VV. Davis returned recently from a three weeks vacation trip to California. Califor-nia. They visited a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Stone at Bellflower and other points of interest including includ-ing a day at the temple in Los Angeles; also in San Diego and in the Big Bear Country and in Long Beach. They went in company with Mr. and Mrs. Merle Christiansen of Springville Spring-ville and after a stay in California Cal-ifornia with relatives, the Christiansens went on to Arizona, Ari-zona, where they visited a few days with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Pal-freyman, Pal-freyman, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Thorpe, recently re-cently enjoyed three days vacation va-cation in Las Vegas. They visited vis-ited Mrs. Palfreyman's mother, Mrs. Eva Higbee and sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kemp. The Thorpes returned home and Mr. and Mrs. Pal-freyman Pal-freyman went on to California visiting Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lid-diard Lid-diard in Los Angeles and meeting meet-ing their daughter and husband, hus-band, Ron and Noleen Boulter and two children of Sacramento Sacramen-to at the Hurst Castle. Gene and Ron enjoyed deep-sea fishing at Monterey and they spent a week at Sacramento. Enroute home, they visited in Carson City with relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Harris and in Winnemucca, Nevada, with Mr. and Mrs. Lamond Higbee and family, being gone two weeks. |
