The gifts were displayed in an ornate gold French flower cart arranged by Mrs. Donald Jessee and Mrs. Norman lessee. les-see. A 3-tiered wedding cake with hearts around the bottom and a replica of a bride and groom ascending steps to the top of the .cake and a miniature temple, tem-ple, was an attractive phase of the decorations. The couple will make their home in Springville while Mike continues his educaton at BYU. Miss Barbara Jessee, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Jessee and Michael Bartholomew, Bartholo-mew, son of Mr. and Mrs. El-don El-don Bartholomew, were married in recent Salt Lake Temple rites. The ceremony was performed per-formed by Selvoy J. Boyer. A reception in the Second-Eighth Second-Eighth Ward, honored the couple cou-ple who are now making their home in Springville. For the reception, the attractive attrac-tive bride chose a gown fashioned fash-ioned of lace and tulle over satin with lace inserts in the full floor-length skirt. The fitted fit-ted bodice featured a scalloped neckline and long sleeves. A pearl-studded chapeau held a full flowing veil and she carried car-ried a bridal bouquet of French carnations and shirred mums in red and white to set the decorative dec-orative theme of the reception. Attending the bride as matron ma-tron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Elaine Rawle. Rosann Le-Roy Le-Roy was maid of honor with . Ruth Bramall, Barbara Johnson John-son and Shari Cook, bridesmaids. brides-maids. Their gowns were red brocaded satin sheaths and they held an arm bouquet of red : ball poms. Best man to the groom was : Darrell Bartholomew, a brother, broth-er, while Donald and Reed Jessee Jes-see were ushers. Annette Rawle and Jeanine Jessee were flower girls. Assisting with the reception of guests also were parents of the newlyweds, Mrs. Jessee wearing a powder blue crepe , for the reception and Mrs. Bartholomew, Bar-tholomew, a pink and silver sheath. Their corsages were white carnations. Greeting guests at the door, were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin MRS. MICHAEL BARTHOLOMEW, the former Miss Barbara Bar-bara Jessee, who was married in recent temple ceremony. |
