The Devils lost to leading lead-ing Provo in the opener and the Wildcats were beaten by northern north-ern division leader, American Fork. If Springville can trip the invaders here, they will be in the title-contending spot since the Bulldogs of Provo will have to meet the BY High cagers once during the season. Though the smallest school competing in the Region, the Wildcats need not take a back seat to any other school. They have rung up some impressive wins and have a high scoring combination. The Devils, while not sporting quite the record of their competitors, should have the home court advantage and the ability to pull the game out if they play their best ball. Thriller at S. F. Springville eked out a one-point one-point thriller at Spanish Fork last Wednesday night to keep iin the running for the league title. The Devils, while leading for the most part in the first of the game, found themselves four points down at the end of the third quarter, but a determined de-termined rally by the Devils closed the gap and sent their ahead by five points.
