Show Holiday lectures set for students A special Christmas gift for 400 Utah high school students and science teachers is being planned jointly by the University Univers-ity of Utah and the American Association for the Advancement Advance-ment of Science. The students and teachers, from schools along the Wasatch Wa-satch Front area, will be invited in-vited to attend a Holiday Science Sci-ence Lecture series at the University's Uni-versity's Spencer Hall Auditorium, Audi-torium, Dec. 28-30. The lectures are to be presented pre-sented by Dr. William A. Fow ler, a distinguished unclear physicist and cosmologist of the California Institute of Technology. He will deliver six lectures on "The Origin of the Elements." The lecture series at the University is one of 10 being presented during the holiday season throughout the nation. Among the other cities where lecture series also will be presented pre-sented are: Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New York and Phoenix. |
