Show Retired veterans turn out to help friend in time of need Mr. Larsen is a past state commander of the American Legion. The veterans group seem to be enjoying the daily get-to- i gethers at the Larsen home and especially the rest period at noon, when Mrs. Larsen serves dinner. I j i - I Mi" ' -t I , : k : The importance of friendships friend-ships is being currently exhibited exhib-ited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Larsen, who recently re-cently moved to Springville from Provo, residing at 136 South Third East St. A short time ago, Mr. Larsen Lar-sen began remodeling his home and in the process, was involved involv-ed in an accident, breaking the bones in his foot. In considerable con-siderable pain and confined to crutches, he could no longer long-er continue with the work. To his aid came his comrades, com-rades, members of Timpanogos Barracks 2670 World War I veterans, most of whom are retired. re-tired. Some have worked as brick masons, some carpenters or general builders, so the work is progressing nicely. The Larsens are grateful for the assistance of their friends, who are also happy to return favors which they in past years have received through the friendship of the Larsens.
