Show Dairy Princess, officials pay visit to boost dairy products People here and throughout Utah County will receive a pretty reminder to enjoy good eating and vibrant health with Utah dairy products today when Utah's dairy royalty come to town. Plans call for the royalty and dairy leaders to visit community com-munity leaders, schools and civic groups. Stars of the tour are Margaret Mar-garet Winn, Smithfield, Cache County, Utah's 1964 Dairy Princess, and her attendants, Gloria Van Dyke, Bountiful, Davis County; and Joan Dur-rant, Dur-rant, Morgan. The tour began in Duchesne County Tuesday and will conclude con-clude in Cache County on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1964. "We are drawing attention to the high quality and outstanding out-standing flavor of Utah's dairy I foods," said Kenneth T. Allred, Salt Lake City, chairman of the committee in charge of the tour. "'Blah's milk and dairy foods have consistently received highest national honors, hon-ors, and we will be stressing the enjoyment and nutritional benefits coming from their use. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Thorn and family came from Kearns Sunday night to visit his mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Maud Thorn in this city. Monday morning, they all left on a vacation trip to Wayne Wonderland and Capitol Capi-tol Reef. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Byers (Cecelia Maycock) and two children were here from Little Rock, Ark., this week for the services of her mother, Mrs. Lena Maycock. |
