Show Meeting slated for non-traditional students CEDAR CITY - A meeting will be conducted con-ducted Oct. 19 for those interested in the development of a non-traditional non-traditional student organization at Southern Utah State College. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Library Seminar Room, according ac-cording to Marty Hamby, organization spokeswoman. Baby sitting services will be available at 25 cents per child. Sponsored by SUSC Special Services, the non-traditional non-traditional student organization, Hamby said, is perceived as a social support group with projects and activities developed as needed by the group. "The group may choose to provide peer support in academic, personal and financial areas," she said. "Other consideration con-sideration may be the development of a special honor roll, child care services during school hours, counseling, or special social activities where baby sitting services ser-vices will be provided for a minimal fee." Areas of concern to the non-traditional student will be defined at the Oct. 19 meeting and future activities planned. Peter Emerson, director of SUSC Special Services, is the group advisor. "Any student who is registered at SUSC on a full-time, part-time or continuing education basis and who is, by reason of age or circumstance, cir-cumstance, deemed non-traditional non-traditional is welcome to attend," he said.
