Show Price to get degree STANFORD, CALIF.. Raymond L. Price recently graduated from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business here, receiving his Doctor of Philosophy degree in business with an emphasis on organizational .behavior. The son of Preston R. Price and Lucille Banks Price, Cedar City. Price was the valedictorian of his Lincoln High School, Nev., graduating class. After serving a mission in Mexico for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints, he went on to obtain his Bachelor's Degree in physchology and his Master's Degree in organizational behavior at Brigham Young University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude for both degrees and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. Coming to Stanford on a full tuition scholarship, Price asisted sveral publications in his field. His work with William Ouchi resulted in Ouchi's recent best seller, "Theory Z" (Addison-Wesley (Addison-Wesley Press). Price is currently employed at Hewlett-Packard Hewlett-Packard Corporation. He serves as corporate management training in-house in-house consultant. Currently Price is writing a training program for laboratory managers and project managers within the research and development develop-ment departments of Hewlett-Packard. He is also working to promote the concept of Quality Circles, a management innovation attributed to the Japanese. He has also consulted with Batelle Northwest Laboratories, Chrysler, the U.S. Army and Hewlett-Packard. His consulting has taken him across the country as well as to England and Europe. "A Magical Season" is the theme for the 1982-83 music arts season, and the poster above was designed with up coming acts in mind to be used for publicity. Artist Gregory Abbott, Salt Lake City, was the poster's designer. Sensational acrobatic balancing feats will be featured when the Chinese Magic Circus of Taiwan comes here to perform. The magic circus will be the opening entertainment act this year brought to Cedar City by the Cedar City Music Arts Committee. |
